Is the Honor Magic V5 worth $1,299.99?

If you want a thin book-style foldable with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, it is competitive at that price. A slab flagship costs less but gives you no inner screen.

How does it compare with the Honor Magic V3?

The V5 is thinner and lighter and moves to a 7.95-inch inner screen with a higher 5,000-nit brightness rating. The V3 is the cheaper option if you do not need the latest hinge and display.

What is the battery life and charging like?

It supports fast charging and wireless charging. Real-world battery life depends on how much you use the large inner screen at 120Hz.

Does it work with US carriers?

It is sold unlocked with dual nano-SIM and supports GSM, CDMA and 5G. Check your carrier's band list before buying, since foldables sold globally can miss some US bands.

What comes in the box?

Expect the phone, a USB-C cable and SIM tool. Confirm charger and case inclusion with the seller, since bundles vary.

Foldables usually drop during holiday sales and after a successor launches. Track the price history here rather than buying at launch price.
