Is the Hooker Vinca cabinet worth the price?

It is a solid mahogany piece with carved fronts and soft-close hardware, so it is built for long-term use rather than a quick furniture flip. Whether it is worth it depends on the quote you find; compare several stores, since pricing on this model varies.

How big is it and will it fit my dining room?

It measures 49.5 inches wide, 17.75 inches deep and 71 inches high. Leave clearance for the doors to swing open and for moving it through doorways, given its 252-pound weight.

Does it come assembled?

Assembly instructions are included, and the cabinet typically ships with the base to be attached. Plan for two people to move and set it up because of the weight.

Solid mahogany wood with metal handles and a solid metal base. The finish is dark mahogany with charcoal tones.

How should I care for the finish?

Dust often with a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid wet cloths and polishes that can build up on the carved surfaces.

When is the best time to buy?

Furniture promotions cluster around major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history here and buy when a quote drops below the recent range.

Our take on the Hooker Furniture Vinca Carved Cabinet

The Vinca is a tall accent cabinet from Hooker Furniture, built from solid mahogany with carved door fronts and a dark mahogany and charcoal finish. It stands 71 inches high and 49.5 inches wide, with three interior shelves, soft-close hinges and a solid metal base. At 252 pounds, it is a heavy piece meant to anchor a dining room or entry wall rather than move around. No current price is available for this page, so compare quotes across stores before buying.
