Our take on the Hot Tub 7-Person 40-Jet

A 7-seat, 40-jet acrylic hot tub in beige, 84 inches wide and 36 inches tall, running on 240V with an integrated heater and ozone cleaning. It is a large family-size tub aimed at backyard installation with a dedicated circuit. At $5,699 at The Home Depot as of November 8, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Seven seats suit larger households and guests
  • 40 jets give good coverage across the seating
  • Ozone cleaning helps cut sanitizer use and maintenance
  • 240V heater holds temperature better than 120V plug-in tubs
  • Acrylic shell is durable and easy to wipe down
Cons
  • 240V hardwiring usually needs an electrician and a permit
  • 84 inches wide and 36 inches tall needs a solid, level pad
  • No lounger or seat layout details are given, so comfort is unconfirmed
  • Only one new price listed, so there is no range to judge the deal against
  • Ozone systems need periodic checks and can add a maintenance item

Questions and answers

Is $5,699 a good price for this hot tub?
It is the only new price listed, $5,699 at The Home Depot as of November 8, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Compare it against other 7-seat, 40-jet acrylic tubs before deciding.
What electrical setup does it need?
It runs on 240V, so it needs a dedicated circuit and typically a licensed electrician plus a permit. Budget for that cost on top of the tub price.
How many people does it seat?
Seven. At 84 inches wide, plan for a pad and clearance that fit the whole footprint plus room to step in and out.
What is included with the hot tub?
The listing covers the tub with its jet system, heater and ozone cleaning. A cover, steps and delivery terms are not specified, so confirm them with the seller.
Does ozone cleaning replace chemicals?
No. Ozone reduces contaminants and helps sanitizer last longer, but you still need regular chlorine or bromine and water testing.
What size space do I need?
At least the 84-inch width plus clearance on all sides for access and service. The 36-inch height means a cover lifter and steps are worth planning for.
Where is the Hot Tub 7-Person 40-Jet cheapest?
At The Home Depot, for $5,699.00, as of our latest check.
