Is this tub mat worth buying?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a soft Turkish cotton mat and like one of the three colors. At 3.6 out of 5, check recent reviews on shedding and drying before you commit.

How does it compare with a memory foam or diatomite mat?

Cotton feels softer and washes like a towel, but it holds water longer. Foam and diatomite dry faster and grip better, though they are less plush.

Does it have a non-slip backing?

No non-slip backing is listed. On tile or smooth floors, use a rug pad or grip strips to keep it from sliding.

How do I wash and dry it?

It is machine washable. Wash with like colors and tumble dry low; shake it out and hang it between uses so it dries fully and avoids a musty smell.

What size is it and will it fit around my tub?

It measures 20 by 32 inches, a standard tub-side size. Measure the floor space beside your tub before ordering, since it is smaller than a full bath rug.

When is the best time to buy it?

Macy's-exclusive items like this usually drop during storewide home sales and holiday events. Compare the live price with its recent range before buying.
