Questions and answers

Is the Hotree 21V drill good for home use?
Yes. It is rated for home use and has enough torque (55 Nm) for furniture assembly, shelf mounting and light drilling. It is not built for daily professional work.
What size bits does the 3/8-inch chuck take?
It accepts bits with shanks up to 3/8 inch, which covers most drill and driver bits for home tasks. Larger hole saws and 1/2-inch shank bits will not fit.
How long does the battery take to charge?
The kit lists a 1 A charger, which is slow for a 21V pack; expect a charge to take a few hours. Buy a spare battery if you plan long sessions.
What is included in the 37-piece kit?
The set includes the drill, battery and charger plus a selection of bits and driving accessories. Check the listing for the exact piece list before buying.
Is it worth it compared with a name-brand drill?
It costs less and offers high torque on paper, but name brands give better battery systems and support. Buy it for occasional home jobs, not daily use.
What do buyers say about the Hotree 21V Cordless Drill Kit?
Rated 4.8 out of 5 from 14 ratings.
