Our take on the Hoyiours Solar Step Lights 4 Pack

The Hoyiours Solar Step Lights are a 4-pack of wireless LED deck and stair lights that charge from sunlight and switch on automatically at dusk. Each light puts out 80 lumens at 6000K cool white, with a second 3000K warm setting, in an ABS housing. They need no wiring, which makes them a low-effort option for steps, railings and garden paths. Pricing history for this pack is limited, so compare the current per-light cost against other solar step light multipacks before buying.

Best forRenters who can't run wiring to outdoor stepsHomeowners lighting a deck, porch or garden pathAnyone wanting dusk-to-dawn lights with no electricity costBuyers who want a warm or cool white option in one fixture
Pros
  • No wiring or electrician needed; mounts with screws or adhesive
  • Solar powered, so no running cost and no outlet nearby
  • Switchable 3000K warm and 6000K cool white light
  • 80 lm per light is enough to mark step edges
  • 4-pack covers a typical flight of stairs or short path
Cons
  • 80 lm is dim for area lighting; best as accent or safety marking
  • Output depends on sun exposure; shaded steps may run short
  • ABS plastic housing is less durable than metal
  • No motion sensor or app control at this level
  • Battery life and replacement details are not spelled out

Questions and answers

Are these bright enough for stairs?
At 80 lumens each they mark step edges and light a short path, but they won't flood an area. Use them as accent or safety lighting rather than the main light.
Do they need direct sunlight?
Yes, the solar panel needs several hours of direct sun to charge the battery for a full night. On shaded steps, expect shorter run time or dimmer output.
Can I choose warm or cool white?
Yes. The lights support both 3000K warm white and 6000K cool white, so you can match nearby lighting.
How are they mounted?
They are designed for flat surfaces like deck boards, stair treads and railings, and typically attach with screws or adhesive. Check the surface is flat and gets sun.
What comes in the 4-pack?
You get four solar step lights. Mounting hardware and battery details should be confirmed on the listing before ordering.
When is the best time to buy?
Solar garden lighting tends to be discounted in spring and early summer and around holiday sales. Compare the per-light price with other 4-packs before buying.
