Is the HP 15 good for everyday use?

Yes for browsing, email, documents and streaming. The 6-core AMD processor and SSD keep it responsive. It is not built for gaming or heavy video editing.

What is Windows 11 Home in S mode?

It is a locked-down Windows mode that only runs apps from the Microsoft Store. You can switch it off once, free, to install other Windows apps.

How much storage does it have?

256 GB on a PCIe NVMe SSD. That is enough for documents and streaming, but tight if you store large photo or video libraries.

How long does the battery last?

HP rates it at up to 9 hours 15 minutes for video playback from the 41 Wh battery. Expect less with heavy browsing or bright screens.

Is $719.99 a good price?

Only one store lists it new at $719.99 as of November 8, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare. Similar 15-inch laptops with 256 GB SSDs often sell for less, so compare specs before buying.
