Is the P4015x good for a small office?

Yes, if the office prints mostly black-and-white documents in volume. The 50 ppm speed and 500-sheet tray suit shared workgroup use, but the USB-only connection limits where it can sit.

Does it print in color?

No. The P4015x is a monochrome laser printer and prints black and white only.

Can I connect it to a network?

This listing specifies USB connectivity only. To share it, connect it to a PC or print server that is on your network.

How much memory does it have?

It ships with 128 MB of memory, which is enough for typical office documents and larger jobs.

Is it still sold new?

The P4015x is a discontinued HP enterprise model. Most units available now are refurbished or used, so check the condition and toner supply before buying.

What should I check before buying a used one?

Check the page count, whether a toner cartridge is included, and that the trays and rollers are in good condition. Ask about a warranty on refurbished units.

Our take on the HP LaserJet P4015x Monochrome Laser Printer

The HP LaserJet P4015x is a monochrome workgroup laser printer rated at 50 pages per minute with a 500-sheet tray and 128 MB of memory. It is built for offices that print high volumes of black-and-white documents, not for color or photo work. Connectivity is USB only, so it needs to sit near a print server or a directly connected PC. It is a discontinued enterprise model, so current listings are usually refurbished units rather than new stock.
