Our take on the HP OMEN 35L GT16-0100m Gaming Desktop PC

The HP OMEN 35L is a mid-tower gaming desktop in a white chassis, built around an NVIDIA graphics card with 16 GB of RAM and a mix of solid-state and mechanical storage. It is aimed at gamers who want a ready-built machine with room to upgrade rather than a compact console-style PC. At $2,059.99 at HP as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against right now.

Best forGamers who want a prebuilt tower with upgrade roomBuyers who prefer a white casePeople who want both fast SSD boot and bulk hard-drive storageFirst-time desktop buyers moving up from a laptop
Pros
  • Full-size 35L tower leaves space for GPU and drive upgrades
  • Dedicated NVIDIA graphics handle modern games at 1080p and 1440p
  • 16 GB RAM is enough for gaming and everyday multitasking
  • SSD plus mechanical drive gives fast boot and cheap bulk storage
  • White finish stands out from the usual black gaming cases
Cons
  • 16 GB of storage as listed is far too little for a gaming PC; check the actual drive sizes before buying
  • Only one store lists a new price, so there is no competition to push the price down
  • 16 GB RAM may need upgrading for heavy multitasking or newer demanding titles
  • Mechanical drives are slow for game loading compared with all-SSD setups
  • Bulky tower takes up more desk or floor space than a small-form-factor PC

Questions and answers

Is the HP OMEN 35L GT16-0100m worth $2,059.99?
At $2,059.99 at HP as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair but not standout price for a prebuilt NVIDIA-powered tower with 16 GB RAM. Compare the exact GPU and drive sizes against similarly priced builds before deciding.
How does it compare with the previous OMEN 30L?
The 35L is the larger, newer chassis with more internal room for upgrades and better airflow than the older 30L. The trade-off is a bigger footprint.
Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?
Yes. The full-size tower has open slots for more RAM and room for additional drives, which is one of its main advantages over compact prebuilts.
What comes in the box?
Expect the tower, a power cable and paperwork. A keyboard and mouse are not guaranteed, so check the listing details before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
HP runs frequent sales around major holidays and back-to-school periods. With only one new price listed as of November 4, 2026, watch for direct HP discounts rather than store-to-store competition.
Where is the HP OMEN 35L GT16-0100m Gaming Desktop PC cheapest?
At HP, for $2,059.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the HP OMEN 35L GT16-0100m Gaming Desktop PC?
Rated 4.2 out of 5 from 57 ratings.
