Is the HP OmniBook 7 Flip worth $899.99?

At $899.99 at HP as of November 7, 2026, it is a fair price for a 16-inch Core Ultra 7 convertible with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Compare the RAM and storage tier before buying, since higher configurations cost more.

Is the screen good enough for a 16-inch laptop?

1920x1200 is workable but not sharp at this size. Text and photos look softer than on a higher-resolution panel, so check it in person if fine detail matters.

How long does the battery last?

HP rates it at up to 23 hours. Real-world use with the screen bright and several apps open will be shorter, but it should cover a full day of light work.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

HP sells it with 16 or 32 GB RAM and 512 GB, 1 TB or 2 TB SSDs, so pick the configuration you need up front. Treat memory as fixed and confirm SSD upgrade options before buying.

Does it come with a stylus?

The touchscreen supports pen input, but a stylus is not listed as included. Budget for one separately if you plan to write or draw.

Is it good for gaming?

It uses integrated Intel graphics, so it suits casual and older titles at low settings, not modern games. A laptop with a dedicated GPU is the better choice for gaming.
