Is this desktop worth it for basic home use?

Yes. For web browsing, email, documents and streaming, the quad-core CPU and SSD are enough, and the price is low. Skip it if you need gaming or video editing.

Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?

Most HP OmniDesk towers allow RAM and drive upgrades, but confirm the open slots and bays for this exact model before buying. Adding RAM to 16 GB is the most useful upgrade.

Is 8 GB of RAM enough?

For light use with a few browser tabs, yes. With many tabs, large spreadsheets or photo editing, 8 GB runs short and the system slows.

Does it have a dedicated graphics card?

No. It relies on integrated Intel graphics, which handles video playback and office work but not modern games or 3D rendering.

What comes in the box?

Expect the desktop tower, a power cable and setup documentation. A keyboard, mouse and monitor are usually not included, so check before ordering.

Budget desktops like this tend to drop during back-to-school, Black Friday and end-of-quarter sales. Its current best price is already near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the HP OmniDesk B11B4AV_268772 Desktop

The HP OmniDesk B11B4AV_268772 is a budget desktop PC with an Intel quad-core processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD paired with a mechanical hard drive, running Windows. It stands out mainly for its low price and the dual-drive setup, which gives fast boot times plus bulk storage. The gold finish is unusual for a desktop and may suit a visible home setup. Its latest best price sits at the low end of its recent range, so it is a reasonable time to buy if the specs fit.
