Our take on the Hulala Home Nerio 94" Compressed Cloud Sofa

The Nerio is a 94-inch armless sofa from Hulala Home that ships compressed and expands once unpacked. Its low 9.5-inch tight back and 39-inch depth give it a lounge-like, floor-level look rather than a traditional upright couch. It is rated for up to 900 lb and comes in eight colors, including solid and check patterns. No current store price was provided, so compare listings before buying.

Best forLiving rooms with a low, modern layoutLarge families or shared seating for several peopleRenters who want a sofa delivered in a compact boxBuyers who want an armless, open-ended sectional-style seat
Pros
  • 94-inch length seats three to four people
  • 900 lb weight capacity is high for a fabric sofa
  • Ships compressed, so it fits through narrow doors and stairs
  • Armless design works at the end of a sectional or against a wall
  • Eight color options, including check patterns
Cons
  • 9.5-inch back height gives little upper-back support
  • 39-inch depth takes up floor space and may feel too deep for shorter sitters
  • Compressed foam needs time to fully expand and may feel firm at first
  • No arms means no place to rest elbows or lean
  • Fabric covers on compressed sofas are usually not removable for washing

Questions and answers

How long does the Nerio sofa take to expand?
Compressed foam sofas typically take 24 to 72 hours to reach full shape. Expect it to feel firmer and look smaller on day one, and give it a few days before judging the seat.
Is the Nerio good for everyday sitting?
It suits lounging and casual seating, but the 9.5-inch back offers little support for long upright sitting. People with back issues should try a deeper-backed sofa instead.
Can I wash the cover?
Most compressed sofas of this type have fixed covers that cannot be removed. Spot clean with a mild fabric cleaner and vacuum regularly.
How many people does a 94-inch sofa seat?
A 94-inch armless sofa generally seats three to four adults. The 900 lb capacity supports that comfortably.
When is the Nerio cheapest?
Compressed sofas from online brands often drop during holiday sales and clearance events. Track the price history and buy when it falls below its recent average.
