Our take on the Hygea Natural Natural Cleaning Starter Kit

The Hygea Natural Cleaning Starter Kit bundles ready-to-use, enzyme-based cleaners in 24 oz spray bottles. It covers all-purpose degreasing, floors and carpets, and includes a Magic Finish floor polish. Formulas are plant-derived and marketed as safe around children and pets. It suits households that want one box of everyday cleaners rather than buying each bottle separately.

Questions and answers

Is the Hygea Natural starter kit worth it?
It makes sense if you want several plant-based cleaners in one order and clean often. If you only need one all-purpose spray, buying a single bottle is cheaper.
Are these cleaners safe around pets and children?
Hygea markets the formulas as non-toxic and safe to use around children and pets. As with any cleaner, keep bottles out of reach and let surfaces dry before pets walk on them.
Can I use the all-purpose spray on glass?
Yes. Glass is listed among the surfaces it handles, along with counters and floors. For streak-free glass, wipe with a dry cloth after spraying.
Do I need to dilute the sprays?
No. They are ready-to-use, so spray directly and wipe. Diluting them weakens the enzyme action.
Does the kit clean carpets too?
Carpets are listed as a supported surface. Spot-test a hidden area first, since enzyme cleaners can affect some carpet dyes.
When is the kit cheapest?
Bundled kits usually drop during seasonal home-care sales and back-to-school promotions. Check the price history on this page before buying.
