The Hyper Tough Solar Series outdoor security light is a solar-powered, motion-sensing fixture that delivers 800 lumens of light for residential and commercial outdoor spaces. At dusk it turns on at a low level, then activates at full power for 30 seconds when motion is detected before returning to the low level once motion stops, so the area stays softly lit through the night and brightens when something moves nearby. Its black finish is built with weather-resistant and rust-resistant construction for outdoor placement. The separate solar panel connects by a 9 ft 8 in wire, giving you flexibility to position the panel where it gets sufficient sunlight while aiming the light head to cover the direction you want to monitor. When choosing a spot for the panel, keep sunlight exposure in mind, and consider sensor sensitivity relative to the direction motion is likely to come from. Each light ships with mounting hardware and an instruction manual to help with setup. This item is Hyper Tough Model FSI 80-8532-800. It is backed by a 2-year limited warranty; the included batteries are not covered under this warranty, and proof of purchase including the date and explanation of the complaint is required for warranty service.
