Is this sheet set really 600 thread count?

The 600 thread count figure applies to the microfiber fabric, not a cotton weave, so it does not compare directly with cotton sheets. Expect a smooth synthetic feel rather than a crisp cotton one.

Will the fitted sheet fit a deep mattress?

The set is sold with deep pockets, and buyers report it stays on thick mattresses. On a thin mattress the fit can be loose.

Is it bamboo or microfiber?

The fabric is microfiber. Bamboo appears in the material attributes, but the sheets are synthetic microfiber and should be treated as such.

How should I wash them?

They are machine washable. Wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low to limit pilling and shrinkage.
