Our take on the IGI Full/Queen All Season Hotel Down Alternative Duvet Insert

The IGI All Season duvet insert is a down alternative comforter in Full/Queen size with a 200 thread count shell and white finish. It is built as a year-round layer for a hotel-style bed, so it suits people who want one insert instead of swapping between a light summer quilt and a heavy winter comforter. The best new price is $22.59 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper competing offer to compare against. At that price it sits at the low end of what a down alternative insert usually costs.

Best forRenters and guest rooms that need an affordable year-round insertHot sleepers who want a light down alternative layerShoppers dressing a Full or Queen bed on a tight budgetAnyone replacing a worn comforter without buying real down
Pros
  • Low price: $22.59 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026
  • All-season weight works as a single insert for most of the year
  • Down alternative fill is a good fit for allergy-sensitive sleepers
  • 200 thread count shell keeps the cost down
  • Full/Queen sizing covers both common mattress widths
Cons
  • Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition
  • 200 thread count is a basic shell, not a smooth hotel-grade weave
  • Down alternative does not loft or breathe like real down
  • No corner tabs or baffle construction are stated, so shifting fill is a risk
  • Fewer reviews than better-known comforter brands

Questions and answers

Is the IGI duvet insert worth buying?
At $22.59 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a cheap way to add a year-round layer to a Full or Queen bed. Expect basic materials rather than hotel-grade loft.
Is it warm enough for winter?
It is sold as an all-season insert, so it is a middle weight. Cold sleepers may want a heavier comforter in deep winter.
Does it work for people with down allergies?
Yes. The fill is down alternative, not real down, so it avoids down allergens.
What sizes does it come in?
This listing is Full/Queen, which fits both a full and a queen mattress. Check the drop you need if your bed is deep.
Does it need a duvet cover?
Yes. The white 200 thread count shell is meant to be covered, and a cover also protects the fill from washing wear.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest new price seen is $22.59 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. With only one store listing it new, watch for seasonal bedding sales rather than store-to-store competition.
