Is the Ileading runner rug actually machine washable?

Yes. Ileading lists it as machine washable, which is the main reason to pick it over a standard shag runner. Use a cold, gentle cycle and air dry to keep the pile from matting.

Will it stay in place on a kitchen floor?

Not on its own. It is a soft shag runner without a grippy backing, so add a rug pad or tape if it slides on tile or wood.

Does the 2' x 6' size run true?

Close, but not exact. Ileading says dimensions are hand-measured with a 0.3 to 1.5 inch deviation, so expect the length to be slightly under or over 6 feet.

Is $15.98 a good price for it?

Yes. That is the best new price across the two stores listing it, at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, and it is low for a washable 2' x 6' shag runner.

Where does this runner fit best?

Kitchens, laundry rooms, bathrooms and beside a bed, as Ileading suggests. It suits low-traffic spots where softness and easy washing matter more than durability.

How do I clean the shag pile between washes?

Vacuum it regularly, ideally with a suction-only head, since the pile traps crumbs and pet hair. Shake it out outdoors before washing.
