Our take on the INK+IVY Dakota Power Recliner 3-in-1 with Swivel

The INK+IVY Dakota is a single-seat power recliner that also swivels and glides, so it works as a nursery chair or a living-room lounger. It is upholstered in beige linen-look fabric over CertiPUR-US certified foam on a solid wood and plywood frame, and it holds up to 300 lbs. At $380.99 at Ashley as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the five stores that carry it.

Pros
  • Power recline plus swivel and glide in one chair
  • 300 lb weight capacity is generous for the size

  • Compact 30 in width fits tight corners
  • Linen-look fabric is easy to clean and neutral in beige
Cons
  • 95 lbs makes it hard to move alone
  • Power recline needs a nearby outlet; no battery backup listed
  • Only one seat, so it does not pair as a sectional piece
  • Linen-look fabric shows stains more than leather
