Is the INMO Future worth $799?

Only if untethered AR matters more to you than image quality. The 30-degree field of view and 640x480 panel put it well behind tethered AR glasses that cost similar money. Waiting for independent reviews after launch is the safer call.

Does it really show 1080P?

The spec sheet lists a 640x480 display. The 1080P figure in the marketing refers to the virtual desktop the glasses render, not the panel's native resolution. Expect a soft, small image rather than a sharp HD one.

Can I use it with my phone or laptop?

It is designed to work on its own, with a Bluetooth 5.3 radio and a USB-C port. INMO has not detailed phone mirroring or PC tethering, so do not count on it as a display for other devices.

How long does the battery last?

INMO has not published runtime. The battery is only 220mAh, which is small for a device driving a display and processor, so expect short sessions between charges. Check claimed battery life before backing.

What does the $30 reservation get me?

It secures eligibility for the $799 VIP launch price on Kickstarter, plus priority shipping and early-backer updates. It is a deposit toward a crowdfunded product, not a purchase, and carries the usual Kickstarter delivery risk.

When will it be cheapest?

The $799 VIP price is pitched as $100 below the regular launch price, so backers get the lowest price at launch. There is no retail price history yet, and prices after the campaign are unknown.

Our take on the INMO Future AR Glasses

The INMO Future is a standalone pair of AR glasses that runs its own spatial desktop without a phone or PC. It uses a monocular green Micro-LED waveguide display rated at 640x480 and up to 2,000 nits, weighs 52g, and connects over Bluetooth 5.3 with a USB-C port. INMO is taking $30 reservations toward a $799 VIP launch price on Kickstarter, described as $100 off the launch price. That $799 is a pre-order figure, not a current retail price, so there is no recent price history to compare against yet.
