Is the 1TB model worth it over 512GB?

Only if you store large video, RAW photo or design files locally. The 1TB model also comes with 16GB of RAM, which helps with heavy multitasking. Otherwise the 512GB version saves money.

How does the M5 compare with the M4 iPad Pro?

The M5 brings a faster chip and newer connectivity, but the design and OLED screen are largely carried over. Owners of an M4 model have little reason to upgrade; buyers coming from older iPads will notice a big jump.

What is the battery life?

Apple rates it at up to 10 hours of web browsing or video over Wi-Fi. Heavy editing, drawing at high brightness or gaming cuts that noticeably.

Does it work with the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard?

Yes, it supports Apple Pencil Pro and the 13-inch Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. Both are sold separately, so budget for them.

What comes in the box?

The iPad, a USB-C charge cable and a power adapter. No keyboard, pencil or case is included.

Discounts are most common during Black Friday, back-to-school season and Apple's occasional refurbished sales. High-capacity models like this 1TB version see fewer and smaller cuts than the base models.

Our take on the iPad Pro M5 13inch Wi-Fi 10core 16GB 1TB

The iPad Pro 13-inch (M5, 2025) is Apple's largest tablet, with a 10-core M5 chip, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 13-inch Ultra Retina XDR tandem OLED screen and thin aluminum body suit drawing, editing and split-screen work. This 1TB Wi-Fi configuration sits at the top of the line, so expect to pay a premium over the 256GB and 512GB models.
