What reviewers say
Users value the device for its reliable global connectivity and rugged build, though many note the data speeds are only suitable for basic tasks. It is frequently cited as a life-saving tool for sailors and remote explorers.
- Data SpeedCriticisedThe 2.4 Kbps speed is insufficient for modern web browsing or social media, working only for text-based emails and weather files.
- Build QualityPraisedThe military-grade housing and IP65 rating provide confidence in harsh maritime or mountain environments.
- Battery LifeMixedWhile standby time is decent at 15.5 hours, active use drains the battery quickly, requiring a power bank for long trips.
