The iScooter DX5 is a non-folding, high-speed scooter with a 1500W peak rear motor, a 35 mph top speed and a 48V 15.6Ah (about 749Wh) battery rated for 37 to 45 miles. It rolls on 16-inch tubeless tires, with front hydraulic shocks and air rear suspension.
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with an electric brake, turn lights, a headlight and a red taillight come standard. It weighs 101.2 lb, carries up to 330 lb and is rated IPX4 for splashes and light rain. Riders must be 14 or older.
At 35 mph it is faster than most bike-lane and path limits, and some states treat a scooter this fast as a moped. Use the lower speed modes on public routes.
