Our take on the Jahyshow Rechargeable Portable FM Radio Speaker MP3 Player

The Jahyshow is a small rechargeable AM/FM radio with a built-in speaker, a Micro SD/TF slot and USB, so it doubles as a basic MP3 player. It weighs about half a pound and runs on an integrated rechargeable battery rather than disposable cells. It is not water resistant and has a single speaker, so it suits a bedside table or shed more than outdoor use. No current price was provided for this listing, so there is no recent price range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Jahyshow radio worth buying?
Only if you want a cheap, light radio with a card slot and accept mono sound. At 2.8 out of 5 from 15 ratings, expect basic performance rather than hi-fi.
Does it have Bluetooth?
No Bluetooth is listed. Inputs are USB, a TF/Micro SD slot, a headphone jack and DC 5V charging.
How long does the battery last?
The listing gives no runtime figure. It uses one integrated rechargeable battery charged over USB at 5V, so expect a few hours of play per charge at low volume.
Can it play music from a memory card?
Yes. It takes a Micro SD/TF card and plays MP3 files, and it also has a USB port.
Can I use headphones with it?
Yes, there is a headphone output, so you can listen without the built-in speaker.
Is it waterproof?
No. The spec lists water resistance as N, so keep it away from rain and splashes.
What do buyers say about the Jahyshow Rechargeable Portable FM Radio Speaker MP3 Player?
