Is the Jayden dresser worth it over a cheaper big-box dresser?

It adds GREENGUARD Gold certification, pre-installed ball-bearing glides and a design that meets the newer ASTM F2057-23 tip-over standard. If those safety and air-quality points matter for a nursery, the premium is easier to justify.

Can I use it as a changing table?

Yes, with the DaVinci changing tray (#M0619), sold separately. The top is 48 inches wide, which leaves room for a pad and supplies.

How much assembly is required?

It ships flat in one 103 lb box and assembles to roughly 93 lb. Drawer glides are pre-installed, so assembly is mainly panels, knobs and the frame.

Does it come with a mirror?

No. A mirror is an add-on option, and the changing tray is also sold separately.

What is the weight limit?

The top holds up to 30 lbs. Drawers are sized for clothing and nursery items, not heavy gear.

Nursery furniture tends to dip during store-wide baby events and holiday sales. Track the price history on this page and buy when it falls below the recent range.

Our take on the Jayden 6-Drawer Double Wide Dresser

The DaVinci Jayden is a 48-inch-wide nursery dresser in New Zealand pine and MDF, with six drawers on pre-installed ball-bearing glides and a 9+ inch extension. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified and exceeds the ASTM F2057-23 tip-over standard, and rounded wooden knobs reduce injury risk. A matching changing tray (#M0619) turns the top into a changing station. It ships flat in one 103 lb box and assembles to about 93 lb. No current price was given for this page, so check the store listing for the latest figure.
