Is the JBL Soundgear Sense worth it?

It is worth it if you want open-ear comfort and awareness, such as running or working in an office. If you want noise cancellation or deep bass, sealed earbuds like the JBL Tune Buds suit you better.

How does it compare with bone conduction headphones?

The Soundgear Sense uses small drivers aimed at the ear rather than bone conduction, so it usually sounds fuller and clearer. Bone conduction models like Shokz still leak less and stay put better for some athletes.

What is the battery life?

JBL rates about 6 hours per charge and roughly 24 hours total with the case. Talk time is about 3.5 hours, and a full charge takes around 2 hours.

Does it work with glasses?

Yes. The ear hooks sit over the ear and generally fit alongside glasses frames, though thick arms can make the fit tighter.

Expect the earbuds, the charging case, a USB-C charging cable and documentation. Check the listing for any included accessories before buying.

JBL open-ear models usually drop during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.

Our take on the JBL Soundgear Sense

The JBL Soundgear Sense is an open-ear wireless earbud set that rests over the ear canal instead of sealing it, so you stay aware of traffic, coworkers and conversation while listening. It uses 16.2 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint, and four microphones for calls, and the charging case brings total playtime to about 24 hours. The earbuds weigh 13.1 g each and the case 69.5 g, with roughly 2 hours to recharge. No current price was supplied for this listing, so check the live price against its recent range before buying.
