Questions and answers
- Is the JBL Tour Pro 3 worth it over the Tour Pro 2?
- The Pro 3 adds a larger case screen, adaptive ANC and a wired audio transmitter in the case. If you fly often or want the case to handle more, the upgrade is worth it; otherwise the Pro 2 covers the basics.
- How long does the battery last?
- JBL rates the buds for roughly 8 hours with ANC off and about 6 with it on, with the case adding several more charges. Expect shorter runs at high volume or with spatial audio on.
- Can the case play audio from a plane seat or a laptop?
- Yes. The case has an analog input and sends that audio to the buds wirelessly, so you can use them with in-flight entertainment or any 3.5mm source.
- Do they work with both iPhone and Android?
- Yes. They pair over standard Bluetooth and the JBL Headphones app is available for both platforms for EQ, ANC and control settings.
- Are they good for calls?
- They have multiple mics and voice pickup tuned for calls, and the case screen shows call controls. Very windy outdoor calls are still the weak spot for most earbuds in this class.
- When is the price lowest?
- JBL earbuds typically drop during major sales events and around new-model launches. Check the price history on this page before buying.
