Is the Jell-O No Bake cheesecake worth it?

Yes if you want a fast, no-oven dessert that feeds a small group. It is not a stand-in for a baked New York cheesecake, so set expectations on texture.

What do I need to add?

Typically milk and butter for the filling and crust, plus an 8- or 9-inch pan. Check the box panel, since exact amounts vary by kit.

How long does it take to set?

Plan on about an hour of chilling, and longer is better for a firmer slice. It sets faster in the fridge than at room temperature.

How many does one kit serve?

One 11.1-ounce kit makes a single 8- or 9-inch cheesecake, roughly 8 small slices. The 2-pack gives you two desserts.

Is it cheaper to buy the 2-pack?

At $21.73 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is about $10.87 per kit. Compare that to single-box grocery prices, which often run close to that per box.

Can I make it ahead of time?

Yes. It holds in the fridge for a day or two, covered, and freezes reasonably well if you wrap slices tightly.
