Our take on the JitteryGit Flashtrack Glow in the Dark Racing & Building Track Set

The JitteryGit Flashtrack is a battery-operated race car set with flexible, glow-in-the-dark track that kids bend into a giant loop and rebuild into their own layouts. It is aimed at ages 3 to 10 and uses ABS plastic, so it is built to survive rough play. Assembly is required, and the car needs batteries, which are not stated as included. At $29.99 at Nordstrom as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent price range across 5 stores.

Questions and answers

Is the JitteryGit Flashtrack worth it?
At $29.99 at Nordstrom as of November 6, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a glow-in-the-dark track and car. It suits kids who like rebuilding layouts more than kids who want a fixed, ready-made track.
What batteries does the car need?
The listing does not state the battery size, and batteries are not confirmed as included. Check the box or product page before buying so the car can run on day one.
What age is this track set for?
It is recommended for ages 3 to 10. The small track joints and assembly mean younger kids should have an adult help with setup.
How big is the track when built?
The set builds a giant loop, but the listed dimensions (25.4 cm long, 22.86 cm high, 10.16 cm wide) describe the packaged product, not the assembled track. Expect the loop to need floor space.
Does it come with more than one car?
The set is listed with a single 4x4-style race car. Two kids racing at once would need a second car, which is not included.
When is the Flashtrack cheapest?
The latest best new price is $29.99 at Nordstrom as of November 6, 2026, with 5 stores listing it. Track the price history to see whether it drops below that around holidays and sales.
Where is the JitteryGit Flashtrack Glow in the Dark Racing & Building Track Set cheapest?
