Is the Jofran Luna 48 Inch a good size for a sectional?

Yes. At 48 inches wide with an oval top, it pairs well with a large sofa or sectional and leaves walking room on the curved ends. In a small room it will dominate the seating area.

Is the top solid wood?

No. The tabletop is MDF with a brown finish over a wood frame. MDF is stable and smooth but dents and water rings more easily than solid wood, so use coasters and trivets.

How stable is the pedestal base?

A single curved pedestal looks sculptural but has a narrower footprint than four legs. It is fine for normal use, but it can rock if someone leans or sits on an edge.

Does it come in other sizes or finishes?

The Luna line includes other pedestal tables, but this listing is the 48-inch oval in brown. Check the model number before ordering if you want a different size or finish.

When is the best time to buy it?

With only one store listing it new, discounts depend on that store's sales rather than broad competition. Watch for furniture events around major holidays and compare against the $924.26 price at 1stopbedrooms as of November 7, 2026.
