Our take on the Jool Baby Nova Baby Swing

The Jool Baby Nova is a compact infant swing that sways side to side instead of front to back, with five speeds, a timer and ten built-in melodies. It adds Bluetooth and a USB port so you can play your own audio, plus a removable canopy and netting. The frame is plastic and weighs 7.25 lbs, so it moves between rooms easily. At $84.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range among the three stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Jool Baby Nova swing worth it?
For a small space and a budget under $100, yes. It covers the basics, side-to-side sway, a timer and Bluetooth audio, at $84.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. Expect to replace it once your baby nears 20 lbs.
How is it different from a front-to-back swing?
The Nova only sways side to side. Some babies prefer that motion, but if yours settles better with front-to-back swinging, this is not the swing for you.
