Is the 44W x 30L true to size?

Owners generally report the waist and inseam match the label, and the stretch waistband gives a little extra room. If you are between sizes, the stretch makes the smaller waist the safer pick.

How stretchy are these jeans?

They use comfort stretch denim, so they flex when you sit or bend but still hold a straight leg. They are not athletic-stretch jeans.

What are CleanKore yarns?

CleanKore is a patented dyeing process that the brand says uses less water and dye than conventional indigo finishing. It does not change how the jeans fit or wash.

How should I wash them?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low, or hang dry to keep the stretch and the dark finish longer. Avoid high heat, which speeds up fading and relaxes the elastic.

Are these jeans dressy enough for work?

The dark, clean straight-leg look works for business casual in most offices. They are not a substitute for dress trousers.

When is the best time to buy?

Denim tends to discount around seasonal clearance and holiday sales. Check the price history on this page before buying.

Our take on the Joseph Abboud Straight Fit Comfort Stretch Men's Jeans 44W x 30L

These are Joseph Abboud straight-fit jeans in a big-and-tall size, 44W x 30L, cut with a mid rise and a classic five-pocket build. The fabric is comfort stretch denim made with patented CleanKore yarns, which the brand says reduces water and dye use in finishing. A stretch waistband adds give at the waist, and the jeans are machine washable. The 4.6-out-of-5 rating from 76 ratings suggests solid owner satisfaction for a dressier everyday jean.
