Our take on the Josy 2pc Manual Reclining Sofa and Loveseat Set

The Josy is a two-piece living room set: a reclining sofa and a matching loveseat, both in gray faux leather with pillow-top arms and tight backs. Both pieces recline manually with a side lever, so there is no motor, wiring or power outlet to deal with. The sofa is 88 inches long with a 19-inch seat height, a size that fits most living rooms but needs clearance behind it to recline. The best new price is $1,724 at Casagear as of November 7, 2026, with four stores listing it new.

Best forBuyers furnishing a living room in one purchaseHouseholds that want reclining seats without motors or cordsFamilies with kids or pets who prefer wipe-clean upholsteryRooms with wall space behind the sofa for the recline
Pros
  • Two matching pieces cover a full seating setup in one buy
  • Manual recline works without power and has fewer parts to fail
  • Faux leather wipes clean and resists spills better than fabric
  • Pillow-top arms add comfort at the ends of each piece
  • Wood frame gives the set a sturdier base than particleboard builds
Cons
  • Manual lever recline is less smooth than a power recliner
  • Faux leather can feel warm and stiff compared with real leather
  • Needs several inches of clearance behind it to fully recline
  • Gray faux leather shows scuffs and shine over time
  • Heavy two-piece set is hard to move through tight doorways

Questions and answers

Is the Josy set power or manual recline?
Both the sofa and loveseat recline manually with a side lever. There is no motor, remote or power cord, so you can place it without an outlet nearby.
How much space do I need behind the sofa?
The back needs room to lean back when reclined, so leave several inches between the sofa and the wall. Measure your room before buying, since the 88-inch sofa also needs side clearance.
Is the faux leather easy to clean?
Yes. Gray faux leather wipes clean with a damp cloth, which suits homes with kids or pets. Avoid harsh solvents, which can dull or crack the finish.
Does the set include both the sofa and the loveseat?
Yes. It is sold as a two-piece set with one reclining sofa and one matching reclining loveseat in gray faux leather.
Is $1,724 a good price for this set?
That is the best new price across four stores as of November 7, 2026. Compare it with other two-piece manual reclining sets, which often run from about $1,200 to $2,000 depending on upholstery and brand.
What is the seat height?
The seat height is 19 inches, which is close to standard sofa height and works for most adults. The sofa is 88 inches long.
Where is the Josy 2pc Manual Reclining Sofa and Loveseat Set cheapest?
At Casagear, for $1,724.00, 22% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
