If you want two cheap moving props for a porch, it can work. The 2.6 out of 5 rating and short battery life mean don't expect a durable heirloom decoration.

What batteries does it need?

Each skeleton takes three LR44 alkaline button cells, and they are not included. Buy spares up front, since these cells drain quickly in a motorized prop.

Can it be used outdoors?

It is listed for indoor and outdoor use, but it is a lightweight hanging prop. In wind it will swing hard and may tangle, so a sheltered porch is safer than an open yard.

Each skeleton is 36 inches, about three feet, including the hanging length. That is smaller than life-size, so it suits doorways and windows rather than a full-size yard scene.

Is it safe around kids?

No. It carries a small-parts choking warning and uses button-cell batteries, which are dangerous if swallowed. Keep it out of reach of young children.

Halloween props usually drop after October 31 and again in late summer clearance. Watch the price history rather than buying at full price in early October.

Our take on the Joyfy 2 Packs 36" Halloween Hanging Swinging Skeleton with Robe

The Joyfy 2-Pack of 36-inch hanging skeletons is a Halloween decoration set: two posable skeletons in robes that hang or swing, with battery-powered motion. Each figure runs on three LR44 button cells, which are not included. At 36 inches they are mid-size props, shorter than life-size hanging skeletons, and the two-pack suits doorways, porches or a pair of trees. The set is rated 2.6 out of 5 from 14 ratings, so expectations should be modest.
