Do the trucks drive on their own?

No. They are push toys. The lights turn on when the truck moves, but there is no motor or remote control.

What batteries do they need?

Batteries are required but not included. Check the package for the exact size and count before buying, and budget for them.

Is this set worth it?

It is a good pick if you want three light-up trucks for young kids at a set price. Skip it if your child expects a remote-control truck.

How big are the trucks?

They are 1:10 scale, which is fairly large for a toy truck. Measure your storage space if you plan to pack them away.

The big wheels and simple push play suit younger kids, roughly preschool to early grade school. Check the age rating on the box.

Three monster trucks, one of each design in the pack. Batteries are not included.

Our take on the Joyfy 3-Pack Monster Truck Toys with Motion-Activated Lights

The Joyfy 3-Pack Monster Truck Toys are three 1:10 scale toy trucks that light up when they move. Each truck runs on batteries that are not included, so plan on buying them before play. At 1:10 scale they are large enough for small hands to grip and push. The set suits kids who like big-wheel trucks and light-up play more than serious RC driving.
