Our take on the Joyfy DIY 3D Moon Lamp Painting Kit

A paint-your-own moon lamp kit: a 5.12-inch moon-shaped light on a wooden tabletop base, powered by 2 AAA batteries. Kids paint the surface themselves, so the finished lamp is one of a kind. It is aimed at beginners aged 6 to 12. At $12.19 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the lowest of the four stores listing it new.

Pros

Paint-your-own design keeps kids busy and gives them a finished object to keep

Low price at $12.19 at Walmart

Cons

Paint coverage and finish depend on the child's skill
Small size may disappoint kids expecting a big glowing moon
