Our take on the JOYRACER 24V Kids Electric Drift Go-Kart

The JOYRACER 24V Kids Electric Drift Go-Kart is a ride-on go-kart for children built around a 24-volt battery system, with a low-slung kart frame and drift-style rear wheels. The 24V setup is a step above the 12V karts most kids start on, so it suits older or more confident riders. At $269.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forKids around 6 to 12 who have outgrown a 12V ride-onDriveway and smooth pavement driftingParents who want a kart rather than a scooter or ATVGift buyers looking for a step-up ride-on
Pros
  • 24V power gives more speed and torque than common 12V karts
  • Drift-style rear wheels slide on smooth pavement

Cons
  • Only one store lists a new price, so there is little to compare
  • Drift wheels wear fast on rough or gravel surfaces
  • Battery run time shrinks with heavy drifting
  • No spare parts or battery pricing shown at this store

Questions and answers

Is the JOYRACER 24V drift go-kart worth it?
If your child has outgrown a 12V ride-on and has smooth pavement to use, the 24V motor and drift wheels are the main reasons to pay more. At $269.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so check it against other 24V karts before buying.
What age is this go-kart for?
A 24V kart is generally aimed at kids roughly 6 to 12, depending on the maker's weight and height limits. Check the JOYRACER manual for the exact maximum rider weight before ordering.
How fast does a 24V kids go-kart go?
Most 24V kids' karts top out around 10 to 15 mph, noticeably quicker than 12V models. JOYRACER does not list a top speed here, so confirm it before buying for a younger rider.
Can it drift on grass or gravel?
Drift wheels work best on smooth, dry pavement like a driveway or empty lot. On grass or gravel the rear wheels lose grip and the kart mostly just slows down.
How long does the battery last per charge?
Expect roughly 40 to 90 minutes of mixed riding on a 24V kart, less with constant drifting. Charge it fully after each use and store it indoors to protect the battery.
What comes in the box?
Typically the kart, battery, charger and assembly hardware. Confirm the included charger and any tools with Wayfair before ordering.
Where is the JOYRACER 24V Kids Electric Drift Go-Kart cheapest?
At Wayfair, for $269.99, as of our latest check.
