Is the Jura E8 Piano worth it?

If you drink milk-based espresso daily and want one-touch brewing with a built-in grinder, it earns its price. If you mostly drink plain espresso, a cheaper machine does the same job.

How does it compare with the older Jura E8?

The Piano adds app control and Wi-Fi on top of the E8's grinder, frother and automatic cleaning. Brewing basics are the same.

Does it make lattes and cappuccinos automatically?

Yes. The integrated milk frother delivers milk into the cup in one program, and the two spouts let you brew two cups in sequence.

What do I need to maintain it?

Plan on a water filter, cleaning tablets and milk-system rinses. The machine prompts you through automatic cleaning and shows a lime-scale indicator.

How much counter space does it need?

About 11.0 inches wide, 13.8 inches tall and 17.6 inches deep, plus clearance to open the bean hopper and water tank.
