Questions and answers

Is this smoker worth it at $219.99?
At $219.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-cost way into gas smoking with four racks and a cover. Expect to manage temperature swings and check the door seals.
How does it compare with a charcoal vertical smoker?
Propane heats faster and needs no charcoal, but charcoal gives steadier, smokier results. This unit suits cooks who value convenience over set-and-forget control.
How many racks does it have and what fits?
It has four removable chrome-coated racks in a vertical cabinet. That suits ribs, jerky, sausage and poultry across multiple levels.
Is 10,500 BTU enough?
It is on the low side for a cabinet this size. It heats quickly but recovers slowly after the door opens, and struggles in cold or windy weather.
What is in the box?
The smoker, four removable racks and a protective cover. Assembly is required.
When is it cheapest?
Only one new price is listed, $219.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to time a drop against. Watch for end-of-season sales.
