Questions and answers

Is the Kangaroo Hoppers mat thick enough for tumbling?
At 2 inches of EPE foam it suits young kids learning rolls, cartwheels and cheer basics. It is not a substitute for a 4-inch crash mat for flips or hard landings.
How big is it and does it fold?
It measures 2 ft by 8 ft and folds into sections with carrying handles. Folded, it fits in a closet or car trunk.
What ages is it for?
It is marketed for children, and the 2-inch foam suits toddlers through early elementary ages best. Older kids doing harder tumbling will want a thicker mat.
How do you clean it?
Wipe the PVC cover with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the foam, and dry it fully before folding.
Is it good for martial arts practice?
It works for light stretching, rolls and floor drills. It is too thin for throws, takedowns or striking practice.
When is the best time to buy it?
No price history was provided for this mat. Compare store prices on the product page and watch for back-to-school and holiday sales.
