Our take on the Kay Bojesen Rabbit Figurine

The Kay Bojesen Rabbit is a small wooden figurine in FSC-certified oak, about 6.3 inches tall and 2.8 inches deep. It comes from the Danish design house founded by Kay Bojesen, known for the 1950s wooden animals that turned toys into collectible objects. The rabbit is a shelf or desk piece rather than a toy, and its jointed look comes from the same rounded, hand-finished style as the monkey and bear. At $145 at Nordstrom as of November 8, 2026, it sits at the top of its usual range, so this is a full-price buy rather than a markdown.

Questions and answers

Is the Kay Bojesen Rabbit a toy for children?
No. It is a decorative wooden figurine, not a plaything, and it is best kept on a shelf out of reach of small children.
How big is it?
It is about 6.3 inches tall, 2.6 inches wide and 2.8 inches deep, so it fits on a narrow shelf or desk.
What wood is it made of?
It is made of oak and carries FSC third-party certification for the wood.
Is $145 a good price?
It is the only new price listed as of November 8, 2026, and it sits at the top of the rabbit's usual range. Waiting for a seasonal sale is the main way to pay less.
Does it come in other colors or sizes?
The listing is the oak version only. Kay Bojesen makes other wooden animals in the same line if you want a different figure.
How should I clean it?
Dust it with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Keep it out of direct sun and away from water so the oak does not dry out or warp.
Where is the Kay Bojesen Rabbit Figurine cheapest?
At Nordstrom, for $145.00, as of our latest check.
