Is 10K gold good for a bracelet?

Yes for everyday wear. 10K is 41.7% gold alloyed with harder metals, so it resists scratches and dents better than 14K or 18K. It looks slightly paler yellow than higher karats.

Will a 9-inch bracelet fit me?

A 9-inch chain fits wrists up to roughly 8.5 inches with a little drape. On an average 7-inch wrist it will hang loose and slide. Measure your wrist and add about half an inch for a snug fit.

Is it solid gold or plated?

Solid 10K yellow gold throughout, not gold plated or filled. The lobster clasp is the only part that may be a different metal.

How wide is the bracelet?

The listing gives an 11 mm height for the curb links but no width. At that height it is a fairly bold chain, closer to a men's style than a delicate one.

When is the best time to buy gold jewelry?

Gold prices move daily, so watch the price over a few weeks rather than a calendar date. Holiday sales at jewelers often discount labor and markup even when the metal price is flat.

Our take on the Kay Jewelers Curb Link Bracelet Solid 10K Yellow

A solid 10K yellow gold curb link chain bracelet from Kay Jewelers, 9 inches long and about 11 mm wide, closed with a lobster clasp. The curb links give it a flat-lying, polished look that works on its own or stacked. It is unisex and sized long, so it suits larger wrists or a loose fit. It is a no-stone, solid-gold piece, so its value tracks the gold price more than a fashion bracelet would.

Best forMen or anyone with a wrist over about 7.5 inches
