Questions and answers

Is the Kelty Galactic Down Blanket warm enough for cold nights?
It adds solid warmth for three-season camping, but it has no hood or closure. For freezing nights, use it as a layer over a sleeping bag.
How big and heavy is it?
It measures about 72 by 55 inches and weighs around 1.8 pounds. It packs into the included stuff sack.
Can it get wet?
The polyester shell resists light moisture, but the down fill loses warmth when soaked. Keep it dry and air it out after trips.
How should I wash it?
Use a down-specific detergent and a front-loading or hand wash, then tumble dry low with dryer balls. Avoid regular detergent and high heat.
Is $56.23 a good price?
That is the best new price across 5 stores as of November 7, 2026. Down blankets often cost more, so it is a strong price for a down-filled camp blanket.
