Is the K-Slim worth it over the K-Mini?
The K-Slim adds a 46 oz removable reservoir and 10 and 12 oz cup sizes; the K-Mini holds one cup of water per brew. If you brew daily and want fewer refills, the K-Slim is the better pick. If you brew rarely and want the smallest footprint, the K-Mini is enough.
Does the K-Slim have a descale light?
No. It has no descale indicator, so Keurig recommends descaling every three to six months depending on water hardness. Use Keurig's descaling solution and follow the brew-button sequence in the manual.
What cup sizes can it brew?
Three: 8, 10, and 12 oz. There is no 4 or 6 oz option, so it is not ideal for strong small cups or concentrated iced coffee.
Will a travel mug fit under it?
Yes, with the drip tray removed. The brewer clears mugs up to 7 inches tall. With the tray in place, clearance is much lower, so tall mugs need the tray off.
What comes in the box?
Just the brewer. No K-Cup pods, water filter, or descaling solution are included, so budget for pods separately.
