- Does the King Douglas Fir Slim 12ft come with lights?
- No. It is an unlit tree, so you add your own string lights. Budget for enough strands to cover 12 feet of branches.
- How wide is the 12-foot King Douglas Fir Slim?
- It is 58 inches wide at the base. That slim spread suits narrow foyers and rooms where a full 12-foot tree would not fit.
- What ceiling height do I need for a 12-foot tree?
- Plan for at least 13 feet of clearance so a topper fits. A two-story foyer or vaulted room works best.
- Is the King Douglas Fir Slim worth $699?
- At $699 at King of Christmas as of November 6, 2026, you pay for height, a slim shape and a 30% PE tip mix. Compare with lit 12-foot trees if you would rather not add lights yourself.
- How long does it take to set up?
- Expect a few hours for assembly, shaping and lighting, and have a second person help. A 12-foot tree is heavy and awkward to raise alone.
- Is it for indoor use only?
- Yes. King of Christmas lists it for indoor placement, so keep it out of rain and direct sun.
