Is the 9 F rating realistic?

Treat 9 F as a limit, not a comfort rating. With a sleeping pad and warm base layers most adults stay comfortable well above freezing; below that, add a liner.

Can two people zip bags together?

The rectangular shape and full-length zipper usually allow left- and right-zip bags of the same model to pair. Check the zipper side before buying a second one.

Is it good for backpacking?

No. The oversized cut and hollow-fiber fill make it heavy and bulky; it suits car camping, cabins and base camps.

Wash on a gentle cycle in a front-loading machine with mild detergent, then tumble on low or air dry. Flannel lining needs extra drying time.

Is $49.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. At under $50 it is inexpensive for a flannel-lined oversized bag.
