Questions and answers

Is the City Pack Mini big enough for a laptop?
No. At 9 liters it is sized for essentials, not a laptop. A small tablet fits; most laptops do not.
What is the difference between the City Pack Mini and the larger City Pack?
The Mini is the smallest version at 9 liters. The standard City Pack holds more and suits commuters carrying a laptop or books.
How do you open the City Pack Mini?
It has a flap over a drawstring top with a zip and snap. You loosen the drawstring to reach the main compartment.
Is $59.50 a good price for this backpack?
That is a low price for the City Pack Mini, which often sells closer to $80–$100 new. At $59.50 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it is a good deal if the size suits you.
What fits inside a 9-liter backpack?
A phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small water bottle and a compact tablet or paperback. It is not meant for gym gear or groceries.
Is it machine washable?
Kipling advises spot cleaning the nylon with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash it, because the coating and hardware can be damaged.
