Our take on the KITESSENSU Cocktail Shaker Bartender Kit

The KITESSENSU Cocktail Shaker Bartender Kit is a six-piece starter set: a shaker plus tongs, bar spoon, jigger, bottle opener and a recipe guide, held on a bamboo stand. It is aimed at beginners who want one box that covers basic cocktail making rather than buying tools one at a time. The pieces are rust-resistant and dishwasher safe, and the silver-and-black finish suits most kitchens. It is a budget-friendly gift set rather than professional bar equipment.

Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if you want the essentials in one box. It covers shaking, measuring, stirring and opening, which is enough for most classic cocktails. Buy separate tools only if you plan to make drinks that need a strainer or muddler.
What is included in the box?
Six pieces: the cocktail shaker, tongs, bar spoon, jigger, bottle opener and a recipe guide, plus the bamboo stand. Check the listing for the shaker size if capacity matters to you.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The set is listed as dishwasher safe and rust-resistant. Hand washing the shaker and bamboo stand will keep the finish and wood looking better longer.
Does it come with a strainer?
No. The six pieces do not include a separate strainer, so plan on the shaker's built-in strainer or buy one separately for drinks that need a finer strain.
Is it a good gift?
It works well as a gift for someone new to cocktails, since it is complete enough to start and comes on a display stand. Skip it for an experienced bartender who already owns better tools.
