Our take on the Kitstorack X-Large Clear Stackable Shoe Storage Boxes 12 Pack

The Kitstorack X-Large Clear Stackable Shoe Storage Boxes are a 12-pack of plastic drop-front shoe organizers that stack into a shelf-like unit. Each box holds one pair, and the clear body lets you see contents without opening. The set is 14 inches deep and 22 inches high when stacked, so it fits closets and entryways where floor space is tight. No current price was available to compare against its recent range.

Best forSneaker and shoe collectors who want visible, dust-free storageRenters who need stackable storage that moves easilyEntryway or closet organization for households with many pairsPeople storing shoes in garages or basements who want to spot pairs fast
Pros
  • Clear plastic shows what is inside each box
  • Stackable design builds a shelf without extra furniture
  • Drop-front or open access makes grabbing a pair quick
  • 12 boxes cover a full rotation of everyday shoes
  • Plastic wipes clean and resists moisture better than cardboard
Cons
  • Boxes are sized for one pair, so boots and high tops may not fit
  • Clear plastic can yellow or scratch over time
  • Stacked units get heavy and top boxes are awkward to reach
  • No ventilation, so damp shoes can trap odor
  • Assembly and stacking take time out of the box

Questions and answers

Will these fit men's size 12 sneakers?
The boxes are described as X-large with a 14-inch depth, which generally fits most men's sneakers up to around size 12. Tall boots and high-top basketball shoes may still be too tall for the lid to close.
How tall is each box?
The listed 22-inch height is for the stacked set, not a single box. Divide by the number of tiers to estimate each box's height before buying for bulky shoes.
Can I stack them more than one set high?
Yes, the boxes are designed to interlock and stack. Keep stacks to a manageable height, since a full stack of 12 loaded boxes is heavy and the bottom boxes carry the load.
Are the boxes fully enclosed or open at the front?
They are clear plastic boxes with a front opening for access. That keeps dust off the shoes while still letting you pull a pair out without unstacking.
Is this cheaper than buying individual shoe boxes?
A 12-pack usually costs less per box than buying singles, but prices vary by store. Check the current per-box price against single clear boxes before deciding.
Do the boxes come assembled?
Most plastic shoe boxes of this type arrive flat or partly assembled and snap together. Expect some setup time for 12 boxes.
