R-19 fits a 2x6 stud cavity, about 6.25 inches deep. For 2x4 walls use R-13 or R-15 instead, since R-19 will not fit without compression.

Do I need a separate vapor barrier with the kraft facing?

No, on exterior walls the kraft facing serves as the vapor retarder. Install the facing toward the heated side of the wall and staple the flanges to the studs.

Can I use this in a ceiling or attic floor?

Yes, but in most climates the facing should be left exposed or covered only with a vapor-permeable material. Do not add a second vapor barrier on top of it.

How much area does one roll cover?
