Our take on the Knight Lay Flat Lift Chair Oversized Back Up Battery

The Knight Lay Flat Lift Chair is an oversized power lift recliner with a 400 lb weight capacity and a 24.8-inch seat, built for people who need help standing up or lying back flat. It adds zero-gravity recline, swivel, massage and a battery backup that lets it lift or recline during a power outage. The velvet cover sits over a leather primary material, and it reclines to 74.8 inches long. As of November 5, 2026 the best new price is $909 at Edward Creation, the only store listing it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Knight Lay Flat Lift Chair worth it?
For a 400 lb-capacity lift chair with lay-flat, zero-gravity, massage and battery backup, $909 at Edward Creation as of November 5, 2026 is a reasonable price. Comparable oversized lift recliners often cost more, but only one store lists this model new, so shop around before committing.
How much room does it need behind it?
It measures 74.8 inches long when fully reclined, so leave roughly 2 feet of clearance behind the backrest for the lay-flat position. A wall-hugger it is not.
Does the battery backup work for both lifting and reclining?
Yes. The backup battery is designed to power the lift and recline motors during an outage so you are not stranded in the chair. Check the battery type and replace it on schedule.
What is the weight capacity and seat size?
The chair supports up to 400 lbs and the seat is 24.8 inches wide in an extra-wide frame. That makes it one of the roomier lift chairs available.
What comes in the box?
You get the chair, cushions and head support, plus the power recline and lift hardware. No ottoman is included, and the chair is for indoor use only.
When is the best time to buy?
Lift chairs tend to drop during holiday sales and Medicare open enrollment season in the fall. With a single new listing at $909 as of November 5, 2026, watch for a second store to list it and create price competition.
Where is the Knight Lay Flat Lift Chair Oversized Back Up Battery cheapest?
At Edward Creation, for $909.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Knight Lay Flat Lift Chair Oversized Back Up Battery?
